Fandango   SOLD

2010 Dutch Warmblood Colt

Fandango is a stunning caramel bay colt with lots of chrome and pizazz. His sire is Farrington-Keur and is out of Joline-Keur (Michelangelo x Akteur). Farrington, whose own career was cut short due to an injury, was a very promising rising dressage star who has now left a legacy of top dressage horses he has sired. Joline is the grand dam or KWPN stallion Scandic and she is the half sister to Iron Spring Farm's UB40. She has produced many first premium foals and she was the winner in the prestigious Pavo cup in the Netherlands before being imported to the USA. Fandango's half sister Avalon-Keur, by Joline x Juventus, recently was awarded her Keur status and was among the Top 10 Dressage Mares for the KWPN/NA Keuring 2011.

Fandango received the highest score of all the horses presented at the Keuring in Georgia last fall, for his dazzling movement. The jury was quite excited about this colt's prospect as a sport horse and dressage prospect.

He is a top quality young gelding with a great personality and super athletic ability. He has been started on ground work and is being introduced to lunging with plans for being backed in the spring. Fandango is currently priced at $18k.
